Cotton Top Cove (originally spelled asCotton-Top Cove in theSNES release) is the third world ofDonkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!, but can also be accessed as the fourth world (and vice-versa forMekanos). It features a variety of water-themed, including lakes, waterfalls, and deep underwater areas. Near the waterfalls are various stair-like protrusions in the cliff face. A large lake and a long boardwalk are atop the waterfall. TheSwanky's Sideshow tent (orSwanky's Dash in the Game Boy Advance remake) is set up near the lake.Blue's Beach Hut is theBrothers Bear location of Cotton Top Cove, located at the start. Thesecret cave is Bounty Bay, which is near the first level and to the right of the westernmost waterfall.Dixie andKiddy can swim in a body of water to access the hidden secret cave from the world map, much like that ofLake Orangatanga.

The manual forDonkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! describes Cotton Top Cove as the Northern Kremisphere's best vacation spot because of the scenery. Due to the large amount of water in the area, several of Cotton Top Cove's areas are located underwater among the fish and coral reefs. However,Kremling remnants led byKAOS chased all tourists away.[1][2]
