Super Mario Klemp-Won-Do: Muskeln sind nicht alles![edit]
Chun-Li and several other characters from theStreet Fighter II series appear in theClub Nintendo comic "Super Mario Klemp-Won-Do: Muskeln sind nicht alles!". She is seen laughing along with the others when Mario decides to enter the "Street Fighter II grandmaster" tournament.
After Mario's surprise victory overZangief, Chun-Li is his next challenger. Mario immediately falls in love with her because of her beauty, unaware of this, and expects a "victory kiss" from her as a reward for winning his last fight. To his surprise, she starts kicking him, forcing Mario to think quickly. He gets the idea to tickle Chun-Li's feet with a feather, causing her to laugh uncontrollably and leaving her unable to battle. Mario wins the fight and advances, facingBlanka in his third match.
Super Mario (Kodansha manga)[edit]
InSuper Mario Land 2 - 6-tsu no Kinka 3 of theSuper Mario Kodansha manga, Chun-Li is referenced and makes a cameo as well. In chapter 3,Luigi is seen playing a video game starring "Kinoppe-Li", who has Chun-Li's odango hairstyle. In the bonus chapter,Wario is seen tormenting some school kids while dressed up asMario. He tries to do the same with a couple of high-schoolers, before they turn around, revealing themselves to be Chun-Li andGuile. Upon seeing them, Wario decides not to bully them.
Super Comboy commercial[edit]
Chun-Li appears in a commercial for theSuper Comboy being conducted byMario alongsideYoshi,Princess Peach,Bowser,Ryu, and several other characters.[1]
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]
Chun-Li has two differentspirits inSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate. The first spirit is based on her appearance inStreet Fighter Alpha, named Chun-Li (Street Fighter Alpha). She is an Advanced-class primary grab spirit with three slots for support spirits. Her spirit battle is against a dark blueZero Suit Samus puppet fighter on the Omega form of the stageOnett. Like all of the spirit battles for characters of theStreet Fighter series, it is a stamina battle, and soon after the battle starts the jumping power of all fighters is permanently reduced. These mechanics make the battle better reflect the gameplay of theStreet Fighter series. The player has 120HP and the opponent has 140 HP. The puppet fighter's kicks and knee strikes have increased power, and she favors using these kinds of attacks referencing Chun-Li's signature kicking techniques. When the Chun-Li (Street Fighter Alpha) spirit is at level 99, it can be enhanced to turn it into the Chun-Li spirit. The Chun-Li spirit is based on the character's normal appearance. It has most of the same attributes as the Chun-Li (Street Fighter Alpha) spirit, but the Chun-Li spirit is stronger as it is an Ace-class spirit, and it additionally increases the power of the user's physical moves. The Chun-Li spirit does not have a spirit battle; it is obtained exclusively by enhancing the Chun-Li (Street Fighter Alpha) spirit.
