Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions description	Regular: Press the Button when Mario swings his Hammer over his head! Press the Button when Mario jumps on Luigi to pop up. Tap the Button once Mario descends to the same height as the enemy. Super: This won't affect flying enemies. Press the Button when Mario swings his Hammer over his head. When Luigi is directly under the enemy, press to knock them into the air! If you knock Luigi back into the ground, you can hit your foe into the air again. To knock Luigi back underground, press the Button when Luigi hits the ground. Then, press when the foe hits the ground to make submerged Luigi knock them sky high! ... Continue this rhythm eight times to earn an Excellent rating!

Chopper Bros. is one ofMario'sBros. Attacks inMario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and itsNintendo 3DS version. It is based on theDunk Hammer. The move costs fiveBP on Modes 1 and 2, and three BP on Mode 3. To begin, Mario hammersLuigi into the ground with the A Button Button. He will then automatically jump to the enemy selected, but B Button must be pressed at the right time to make Luigi jump underneath Mario, throwing him into the air. Mario can then swing the Hammer at will by repeatedly pressing the button, dealing damage proportional to how quickly the button is pressed until he lands.

Once the attack is successfully executed thirty-two times, the Advanced version is learned. In the Advanced version, Mario hammers Luigi into the ground. Luigi pops back up underneath the enemy, dealing damage, Mario hammers him back down, and the process repeats. The Advanced commands are A Button to pound Luigi into the ground, again as the brothers near their target, and finally B Button to make Luigi pop out and cause damage. The player should then alternate pressing and to make Luigi pop out and have Mario hammer him down again. In theNintendo 3DS version, it no longer hits flying enemies, and Mario can only hammer Luigi down up to eight times for an "Excellent!" rating (doing so only once gives a "Good" rating, and six times gives a "Great!" rating).
