Chomp Country (a.k.a.The Red Ore Fear Orbs) is a fighting group found inGlitzville during the events ofPaper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. It is composed of twoRed Chomps. They are notable for being the highest ranked fighters who fight as a team. Like most Chain Chomps, they can only communicate by barking. Chomp Country is ranked in second place in theGlitz Pit, behindThe Koopinator and aboveHamma, Bamma, and Flare. OnceMario defeats them, they drop down into third place. After Mario leaves, Chomp Country reclaims second place. These are the only Red Chomps found during the main quest, only appearing elsewhere in thePit of 100 Trials.

Before Mario faces them, aCake will be given to him byJolene by a "fan". If Mario allows hispartner to eat the cake, it will cause them to become sick, and subsequently make Mario fight alone. Once the battle is over, his partner will be up and moving again, apologizing for missing the battle. If they avoid eating the cake, as soon as the battle is over,Shellshock will have eaten the cake, causing him to be on the ground ill.

	Tattle	That's a Red Chomp. It's a rabid, red, biting, chewing, chomping fool! Max HP is 6, Attack is 5, and Defense is 3. Its attacks are so powerful, we could be in a world of hurt if we don't beat it fast! ...Which is why it's really, REALLY lame that its Defense is so high. Its HP is pretty low, though, so items and special moves might just work... Just look at that color! Think someone painted it after it fell asleep at a party?
