"Chests in the Current" is the secondmission ofDire, Dire Docks inSuper Mario 64 andSuper Mario 64 DS.

Layout[edit]

To get thePower Star for thislevel, the player has to open theTreasure Chests at the bottom of the first area in the correct order. Opening the wrong one results in the character getting electrocuted and the puzzle resetting, and every time the correct one is opened, an airbubble comes out. The order of the chests is as follows:

The chest behind thewhirlpool, next to theclam shell
The chest below the entrance to the tunnel, next to some seaweed/coins
The chest behind the whirlpool, to the right. In the DS version, this chest is removed.
The chest directly in front of the whirlpool

Once all the chests have been opened in the correct order, the Power Star appears to the left of the tunnel's entrance.
