Description(s)
Wear this to add Charge to Mario's Tactics menu. This move requires one FP. Wearing two or more of these badges requires more FP, but increases the charge power.(Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Nintendo GameCube)
Wear this to let Mario use Charge for 1 FP. When Charge is selected from the Tactics menu, it'll increase the damage caused on Mario's next attack. Wearing two or more of these badges increases the charge power, but that will also increase the required FP.(Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Nintendo Switch)

Charge is abadge inPaper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and itsSwitch remake. It can be found inThe Great Tree, after performing aground pound (only possibly after obtaining theSuper Boots) on a panel to the east of the firstJabbi hive, then platforming across until the badge is within reach with the help ofKoops, or rarely dropped byHyper Goombas,Hyper Paragoombas, andHyper Clefts. IfMario equips the badge, he gains a new ability called Charge, which appears alongside his Tactics. Using the move costs oneFP and one of Mario's turn, but during the following turn, all of his attacks are increased in power by two. The badge also works in conjunction with copies of itself, increasing the amount of FP required to use it while also increased the boost in strength. The move has a variant calledCharge P that works exclusively for Mario'spartner.

The Charge badge replaces both theJump Charge andSmash Charge badges fromPaper Mario by combining their effects on jump and hammer attacks, respectively, into one.
