Chain Saw is a Duelminigame found inMario Party Advance. The name of the minigame is a pun on "chainsaw," a portable electric or gas-powered saw used primarily for chopping trees.

In theShroom City mode, Chain Saw is played when the player arrives at the location ofChain Chomp. If the player wins, they win this minigame to play in Play Land.

Gameplay[edit]

In this minigame, two players attempt to saw the chains suspending twoThwomps above their opponents' heads by quickly alternating between and. If one of the players saws the chain too fast, they are forced to stop and rest; players can see how fast they are sawing by the number of sweat drops that appear behind their characters' heads. The player that saws through the chain first causes the Thwomp to fall onto their opponent, winning the minigame.
