Cashapult is a 2-vs.-2coin-collectingminigame found inMario Party 6 andMario Party Superstars. The name is a portmanteau of the words "cash" and "catapult," an ancient weapon that sends objects flying when the rope is released.
The differences between day and night inMario Party 6 are only aesthetic. Only the daytime version appears inMario Party Superstars.
Introduction[edit]
Both players on one team first stand on clouds. The first player then leaps off their cloud onto a catapult, after which the screen splits in two.
Gameplay[edit]
Teams attempt to get coins from the sky by using a catapult as they stand on it. There are 20 coins above the clouds. The player who is sent flying tries to collect as many coins as possible. Each player on the team uses the catapult twice to collect coins. A whistling sound is audible inMario Party Superstars when players rise and fall.
