Cannon Kongs[1] areDonkey Kong's robots that appear as enemies inMario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars andMini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge. They first appear inRunaway Warehouse. Similarly toCircus Kongs, Cannon Kongs cannot hurt the Mini toys directly. Instead, they suck the toys into their cannon-based body and blast them forward in the direction that they are facing. This makes them similar tocannons, though they do not change direction and cannot be manually timed. While in the air after being fired from a Cannon Kong, Minis can destroy enemies and crumbling blocks or stunCircus Kongs.
Like Circus Kongs, Cannon Kongs can be stunned withhammers. Players can also stop the Minis after being launched by setting upRed Girders or other objects in front of the toys.
