TheCake is aThing inPaper Mario: Sticker Star. It is found on the dining room table inThe Enigmansion. AsMario is walking around in the loft above the kitchen, he may drop down onto the table and simply collect the cake. It remains in Mario'salbum until it is turned into asticker at aSling-a-Thing station. Once it has been used as a sticker, it returns to its original position. It can also be purchased from theShady Toad for 100coins.
As a sticker, the cake takes up four squares in Mario's album. If used in a battle, a large cake appears behind Mario, with a techno arrangement of "Happy Birthday to You" playing in the background. There are ten candles on the cake which light up, giving the player the chance to blow into the mic of their system to extinguish a few of them; this restores a particular amount ofHP. If no candles are extinguished, the cake disappears with no HP restored.[1]
The cake can also be placed into theSticker Museum as #63, alongside the miscellaneous Things. Its description mentions its rare nature and delicacy, and appears to be telling Mario to back away from the display, referencing its irresistible desire.
