Bubbling cauldrons,[1] also referred to asboiling pots,[1] are massive vats full of molten metal[2] in the various factory stages inDonkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! (andits Game Boy Advance remake) andDonkey Kong Land III. Cauldrons appear in different depths and colors, but they always serve as a hazard that hurts theKongs and theirAnimal Friends on contact. Generally, bubbling cauldrons are crossed only from usingropes above them or by bouncing off other objects or enemies.
