Bright Ore is a type of terrain that appears inDonkey Kong Bananza. It is a material that appears within theUnderground World, primarily in theRadiance Layer. Bright Ore has two unique forms; ordinarily, it is an incredibly durable red material covered in geometric patterns. However, when it is placed somewhere where it is covered in shade, it turns into a fragile, white stone. Several enemies made of Bright Ore, most notablyIlluminoids, are deployed byVoid Co.
Unlike most types of terrain,Donkey Kong cannot destroy Bright Ore by any means in its normal state. Instead, he first must situate the material in a spot where it is not exposed to sunlight, which will transform it into soft terrain that can be smashed or utilized as a chunk. If Donkey Kong carries a chunk of Bright Ore back into light, it will revert to its original state, providing an indestructible weapon he can swing or throw at enemies.
