Bowser Stunners[1] areAmp-like obstacles that first appear inNew Super Mario Bros. U. They return inNew Super Luigi U andNew Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. As their name implies, they resembleBowser's head. Unlike Amps, Bowser Stunners have special chains connected to another Bowser Stunner, creating a stream of electricity to travel on the chains. They electrify player characters on contact. Bowser Stunners are completely invincible, and cannot be defeated by any attack. InNew Super Mario Bros. U andNew Super Luigi U, Bowser Stunners are encountered exclusively inRed-Hot Elevator Ride andCurrent Event, respectively.
