Bouncies (singularBouncy orBouncie[1][2]) are large, pink balls with faces first appearing inYoshi's Island DS. They bounce back whoever touches them a fair distance, so they can help theYoshis reach high places and speed past fast-moving crushing walls by bouncing him at a high speed. Bouncies are first encountered in the levelBoing!, and inTeeth-Chattering Chill Zone, Bouncies that bounce off of the platforms can be slightly knocked backwards by hitting them. Bouncies appear prominently inBouncy Maze.

Bouncies make a minor appearance inYoshi's Woolly World in one of theBonus Games.
