Bopping Toadies,[1] also known asBopping Frogs,[2] arefrog-like enemies inSuper Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. They are encountered in only one course—theRoots Course of theTree Zone. Their attack pattern is simple. They lash their tongues out, jump up a short distance, then lash out their tongues again. However, they stop moments before attacking. They can be defeated with a standardjump orfireball.

If a Bopping Toady is lured into a narrow tunnel, it can get stuck in the ceiling as it jumps.[3]
