TheBoneyard is an outdoor area of themansion in thegame of the same name. It is first accessed and cleared in Area Two. The area has a doghouse thatSpooky sleeps inside of, and he chasesLuigi around the location when approached. An irritatedMr. Bones rises out from the ground, and capturing it into thePoltergust 3000 is required before Luigi can do so to Spooky. After Luigi captures both of them, the Boneyard lights up, with sparkles appearing inside of the doghouse, which can selected by theGame Boy Horror to produce an air vacuum that sends Luigi to theGraveyard.[1] ThreeTemper Terrors can be optionally encountered in the Boneyard during theblackout.

The Boneyard has a sprout that can be watered to grow a bit,[2] then again afterBogmire to have it grow a lot,[3] and lastly after defeatingBoolossus to have the plant produce aGold Diamond, twoGold Bars, 20Bills, and 30Coins.[4] If Luigi does not water the flower after defeating either boss, the plant withers and dies.
