History[edit]
Paper Mario: Sticker Star[edit]
- “A hammer whose tepid flames can fry small fry. If your timing's off, though, you won't produce any flames.”
- —Sticker Museum plaque,Paper Mario: Sticker Star
Burnhammers debut inPaper Mario: Sticker Star as extremely common stickers. When used, Mario smashes the hammer onto his target, sending flames on it and the enemies behind it. They hit ground and low altitude enemies and have a one-star attack rating. Being a fire attack, it deals twice as much damage to ice enemies such asIce Bros and theBowser Snow Statue. A Fire Flower or Burnhammer must be used to melt the ice cream cone-shaped snow mound inSnow Rise.
Burnhammers are sold inDecalburg for twenty coins each and can be dropped byShy Guys after battle. When upgrading them, they can be transformed intoFire Flowers,Baahammers, or Chillhammers.
Stronger variants are theBig Shiny Burnhammer andMegaflash Burnhammer. In the Sticker Museum, its number is #52.
Paper Mario: Color Splash[edit]
- “Looses a giant flame on impact, burning all enemies if executed well.”
- —In-game description,Paper Mario: Color Splash
Blazehammers return inPaper Mario: Color Splash under their current name. They can be found commonly in areas such asDaffodil Peak andMossrock Theater. A Blazehammer requires mainly redpaint to fill in.
