Big Ruby Rocks[1] are a variant ofRuby Rock inSuper Mario Galaxy. They are found only in theDusty Dune Galaxy, in the mission "Soaring on the Desert Winds," where they appear in the underground section, in the sand slide area. UponMario (orLuigi) reaching the section and descending the slide, a Big Ruby Rock falls from above and begins to roll down, forcing him to run away. Despite their size, Big Ruby Rocks can be defeated just like a normal Ruby Rock, with aspin orfireball in their red part, which causes them to dropStar Bits.
