ABig Mouth[1] is an enemy inVirtual Boy Wario Land. Described as "overgrownguppies,"[1] Big Mouths appear only throughout underwater areas inStage 3, hiding in dark holes in the background, with only their eyes visible. A Big Mouth lunges with its mouth wide open atWario when he approaches. Big Mouths cannot be defeated, though the flames ofSea Dragon Wario can cause them to retreat into their hole for several seconds, with their eyes also appearing stunned briefly.

Their design and behavior would go on to be similar to theUtsuboankō fromWario Land 4, a later installment of theWario Land series.
