"Battlerock Galaxy"[1][2] is a musical theme composed byMahito Yokota forSuper Mario Galaxy, where it plays inBattlerock Galaxy andDreadnought Galaxy. The theme incorporates a brief arrangement of "Overture" from the same game.

Super Mario Galaxy[edit]
Super Mario Galaxy marks the first appearance of "Battlerock Galaxy".
An ambient arrangement of "Battlerock Galaxy", titled "Space Fantasy" in theNintendo Music app and the officialSuper Mario Galaxy Original Soundtrack album, first plays inGood Egg Galaxy, on the Flipswitch planet in "Dino Piranha" and in the last two sections of "A Snack of Cosmic Proportions". It later plays inMatter Splatter Galaxy,Bubble Breeze Galaxy,Bubble Blast Galaxy,Sling Pod Galaxy,Boo's Boneyard Galaxy, thematter section ofGhostly Galaxy, "Yoshi's Unexpected Appearance" fromSpace Junk Galaxy, "Gusty Garden's Gravity Scramble" inGusty Garden Galaxy, and "Bubble Blastoff" inDeep Dark Galaxy. The music alternates between it and the original theme during certain sections of Battlerock Galaxy and Dreadnought Galaxy.
Both "Battlerock Galaxy" and "Space Fantasy" return for the same purposes in theNintendo Switchports,Super Mario 3D All-Stars andSuper Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games[edit]
In theWii version ofMario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, an arrangement of "Battlerock Galaxy" plays in theDream Hurdles event. It is titled "Dream Hurdles: Battlerock Galaxy (Super Mario Galaxy)" in the game'ssound test.
