Barney Bubbles[1] are enemies inSuper Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and itsGame Boy Advanceremake,Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. They are purple balls with blue feet, as shown from their sprites, although their artwork depicts them as white with red feet. A Barney Bubble's behavior involves it quickly running back and forth. AYoshi cannot eat a Barney Bubble, andthrowing an egg at it is the only way to defeat it. Whenever a Barney Bubble isstomped on, it produces bubbles, the same type as those produced byBubble Dayzees. Two Barney Bubbles appear in the levelMonkeys' Favorite Lake, and in the remake, two more appear in the forest area ofEndless World of Yoshis, for a grand total of four Barney Bubbles.
