Back Space

Purpose	Causes the player to move backward the number of spaces printed on the space.
First appearance	Mario Party: Island Tour (2013)
Latest appearance	Mario Party: Star Rush (2016)

ABack Space is an uncommonspace that is first present inMario Party: Island Tour, then appears inMario Party 10 andMario Party: Star Rush.

History[edit]

Mario Party: Island Tour[edit]

Back Spaces first appear inMario Party: Island Tour as red spaces with "-[number]" written on them. They move the player backward the number of spaces displayed on the space.

Mario Party 10[edit]

Back Spaces return inMario Party 10, though they are only present in the Bowser Party mode. They behave as they do inMario Party: Island Tour.

Mario Party: Star Rush[edit]

Back Spaces appear yet again inMario Party: Star Rush, behaving as they do in past games. They appear in the Balloon Bash and Mario Shuffle game modes.
