Armored Stingas are a variant ofStinga covered in gray armor. They appear as enemies inDonkey Kong Jungle Beat. They attack just like unarmored Stingas, by flying towardDonkey Kong. These enemies cannot be attacked unless Donkey Kong performs aSound Wave Attack, causing the Armored Stinga to lose its armor and become a normal Stinga. Donkey Kong can then defeat the Stinga by using the Sound Wave Attack another time. Donkey Kong earns abeat by defeating an Armored Stinga. These enemies appear in theDurian Kingdom levels,Primeval Ruins andAerie Fortress.
