Argonaut Games is a British video game developer that often developed games forNintendo. Argonaut was founded in 1982 and liquidated in 2004 before being relaunched in 2024. The company developedStar Fox in 1993.

For theSuper Mario franchise, Argonaut developed a pitch for a racing game starringYoshi in the 1990s that would have been calledYoshi Racing, but it was canceled.[2][3]
