A5 UP is a goldmushroom found inMario vs. Donkey Kong. It is one of the items that can be earned by playing one of the two bonusminigames present in the game at the end of alevel, only after the player has collected all threepresents. Obtaining one of these mushrooms grants the player fiveextra lives.

5 UPs do not appear in theNintendo Switch remake, as both minigames were replaced with various bonus levels that grant multiple1-Up Mushrooms instead.
