5-Banana Coins,[1] orMulti-Coins,[2] are multi-coloredBanana Coins that have all of theKongs' colors on them in a rainbow order. They are uncommon collectible items appearing only inDonkey Kong 64. Collecting a 5-Banana Coin gives every Kong five extra Banana Coins, even if they have not been rescued yet. Every world has at least one 5-Banana Coin, exceptHideout Helm. 5-Banana Coins are always buried under aDK Dirt Pile, from which it can be released by performing theshockwave move on the DK Dirt Pile.

- Inside a cave south ofCranky's Lab.
- Inside the cave behind the waterfall whereDonkey Kong'sbanana hoard is kept.
- BehindK. Lumsy's cage inK. Lumsy's Prison.
- Below the entrance toCrystal Caves's lobby.
- On the rooftop ofAngry Aztec's lobby entrance.
- Outside the entrance toFungi Forest's lobby.
- Below theBonus Barrel inCreepy Castle's lobby.
- Jungle Japes: On top of the steep slope near the minecart ride's exit.
- Angry Aztec
- Below theTag Barrel inCandy Kong's area.
- InsideChunky Kong's section of the Temple with Five Doors.
- Frantic Factory: Behind a gate in the Storage Room that can be destroyed by Chunky'sPrimate Punch.
- Gloomy Galleon: Inside the lighthouse.
- Fungi Forest
- Near the Dirt Pile where theBeanstalk is planted.
- Near the Tag Barrel where the exit to the Chunky Minecart is.
- Crystal Caves: Under theGiant Viking Kremling.
- Creepy Castle: BehindSnide's HQ.
