The 1-Star Hex

The1-Star Hex is a type ofHex inMario Party DS. The player possessing it can choose to place it on anyBlue Space orRed Space within five spaces from their current location. When a player lands on it, astar is distributed and the hex is destroyed. If opponents land on it, the sides of the hex will fold together on them, and a star will be taken from them and given to the player or team who placed it. If there are no stars to be taken, the hex will not have any special effect and will just be destroyed. If the "owner" of the space lands on it, they will receive five coins. This hex can be received in theHex Area or stolen with aSnag Bag.

InSuper Mario Party Jamboree, there is an item called theStar Steal Trap that acts like the 1-Star Hex.
