Valencia welcomes more than 200,000 fans as MotoGP attendance passes 3.6 million for 2025 🙌 The 2025 MotoGP™ season concluded yesterday with more than 200,000 spectators enjoying the weekend’s action as Aprilia Racing’s Marco Bezzecchi took victory in the final race of the season.More than 200,000 fans attended across the finale, pushing overall attendance for the season past 3.6 million – a new benchmark for the sport. The increase to 22 events, the introduction of the Tissot Sprint in 2023, and expanded fan activations have driven unprecedented demand, ensuring more fans than ever experienced MotoGP live in 2025.In addition to the huge crowd at Valencia, MotoGP events set record attendance numbers at nine different circuits this season, underlining the sport’s accelerating global appeal and deepening fan engagement.A further two-thousand fans attended the MotoGP Awards, where Marc Márquez lifted his MotoGP World Championship title, adding another historic moment to a landmark weekend after 2025 saw him create the greatest sporting comeback in history.Carmelo Ezpeleta, Chief Executive Officer at MotoGP: "This season has been extraordinary for MotoGP, with record-breaking crowds and unforgettable racing. Valencia welcomes more than 200,000 fans as MotoGP attendance passes 3.6 million for 2025 motogp.com MotoGP raced for Valencia last year, raising more than €1.5 million to aid flood relief - one year on, MotoGP CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta's visit reaffirms MotoGP’s commitment to the local communitiesMotoGP™ returns to Valencia this weekend for the first time since 2023, following last year’s devastating floods that forced the cancellation of the event.Ahead of the season finale, Chief Executive Officer Carmelo Ezpeleta visited Cheste and Chiva, the towns closest to the circuit, to see recovery efforts supported by contributions raised from the Solidarity GP. He was accompanied by a number of local dignitaries including Luis Cervera, Director General of Sports; Nicolás Collado, Director General of theCircuit Ricardo Tormo; José Morell, Mayor of Cheste; and Ernesto Navarro, Mayor of Chiva. In 2024, MotoGP raced for Valencia at the#SolidarityGP in Barcelona, raising more than €1.5 million to aid flood relief and reconstruction. On the Sunday, a tense Grand Prix saw Martín crash out as Bagnaia came through to secure the win and become World Champion for the second consecutive year.This year’s return is already a landmark moment – the event is completely sold out. With nine record crowds already in 2025 as MotoGP continues its trajectory of growth, our impact within and connection to the communities in which we race likewise continues to expand around the world.
MotoGP™ meets road safety: inspiring safe riding habits in Lombok schools 🏫During our visit to Mandalika, a selection of our riders stopped by SD Ngolang, an elementary school dedicated to nurturing young learners through quality education, strong local values, and a supportive environment that builds soft skills through fun and immersive experiences. They also visited PONPES Lenser, an boarding school currently accommodating around 200 students, integrating religious education, academic excellence, and community values.As part of our#RacingForTheFuture initiatives, the riders had the wonderful opportunity to introduce the children to the exciting world of#MotoGP using it as a real-life example to highlight the importance of road safety, responsible riding, and chasing their dreams to the fullest.
