🌍 EARLALL’s latest webinar, "Understanding Skills Challenges and Opportunities in AM Sectors across European Regions," continued our sector-focused skills analysis series, which has previously covered areas like agriculture, care, and the blue economy. In this edition, we explored how Europe’s regions are adapting to advanced manufacturing challenges, with the LCAMP Alliance joining as a key partner. These insights contribute to our ongoing efforts to address the skills gaps across various sectors.🤖A key highlight wasRalph Hippe fromCedefop, who shared initial findings from their AI skills survey. The results revealed that 61% of workers need new skills to adapt to AI, yet 44% feel employers won’t provide the necessary training. The need for public-private partnerships to address these gaps and prepare the workforce for AI's impact was emphasized.EARLALL Regions & Lombardy sharing AM challenges and opportunities➡️Iñigo Araiztegui Arraiz (Basque Country):LCAMP: Learner Centric Advanced Manufacturing Platform for CoVEs’s role in regional VET policies and its integration into the Basque government’s education plan.➡️Albert Peiró Mateu (Catalonia):EXCEED – Excellence In Green And Digital Manufacturing project focuses on green and digital manufacturing with a strong commitment to gender equality.➡️Annick Haesaerts Flanders (GO! onderwijs van de Vlaamse Gemeenschap) : Innovative projects addressing labour shortages and skills mismatches, such as Adecco’s Workforce Academy 4.0.➡️Rachele Sessa (Fondazione Ergo), Lombardy:SMARTT VAlley hub enhancing competitiveness for SMEs.Stay tuned for more updates!
