  AIS presentsAMD™ with the "Production Technology Lumiere Award"! I had the honor of attending the Advanced Imaging Society (AIS) Award Ceremony in Los Angeles—often called the “Oscars for technology innovators”—alongside my distinguished colleaguesJack Huynh,Kumaran Siva,Herman Nakamura andJohn Canning, and was proud to receive the "Production Technology Lumiere Award" recognizing how AMD empowers Hollywood’s most demanding creators to push the boundaries of visual storytelling. During the ceremony, award presenterEvan Jacobs ofMarvel Studios shared a striking perspective: “Using a 2005‑vintage workstation to render next year’s Toy Story 5, the team at Pixar would need 131 years to get Woody and Buzz Lightyear to the screen,” whereas today that same work can be completed in hours thanks to AMD’s latest technologies.
