TheZrink (サンパSanpa) is anAurum enemy introduced inKid Icarus: Uprising. At full health, Zrinks are triple-layered hexagons that slowly float about. They mainly serve as defensive shields, but do have offensive capabilities. As they are damaged, the outer hexagons disappear, exposing their spiky "skeletons". The smaller a Zrink becomes, the more quickly it moves and fires.

"Initially, Zrinks are large, slow-moving targets. Yet as they take damage, they shed their outer armor, making them smaller and allowing them to move faster. They rarely attack, instead providing defense for nearby Aurum."
