TheVile Phial is anUnversed that is found inKingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.
Design[edit]
A Vile Phial is a small creature that resembles an hourglass-shapedvial. Its base is round and has two short "arms" on either side of it. The neck of the bottle is comparatively thin and it is capped off by a lid with a large, violet gemstone for a handle. The Vile Phial is predominantly violet with silver highlights. Its eyes are red and set in a happy expression.
InKingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix, the Vile Phial receives a palette swap which gives it a dark-green body and an orange gemstone handle.
Strategy[edit]
The Vile Phial focuses on healing itself and its allies, similar to theGreen Requiem andCrescendo; ifConfused, it will heal the player character instead. It inflicts the Poison status if it collides with an opponent, so a good way to defeat it is to guard against its attacks and strike when it's stunned.
