TheSir Kyroo is aDream Eater that appears inKingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.

Design[edit]

The Sir Kyroo is a winged frog armed with acattail blade and a lilypad shield. Its Emblem is on the middle of its belly.

Both the English and Japanese names contain a variation of the Japanese word for "frog,"kaeru (蛙^?). Both "sir" and "soldier" refer to its weapons of choice, which are reminiscent of those used by medieval knights.

Spirit[edit]

As a Spirit, its body is primarily orange, with a big round white spot on its belly. Around the white spot are little green and turquoise dots. Its legs are green, blending to blue, and has burgundy toes. It has a green and yellow cattail blade, with a blue hilt, and a chartreuse lily pad shield. Its wings are yellow, bending down to orange, with purple insides, and a purple orb on each end. It has yellow eyes, with its pupils resembling a "y".

Nightmare[edit]

As a Nightmare, its body is primarily black, with a big round white and teal spot on its belly. Around the white and teal spot are little pink and purple dots. Its legs are orange, blending to yellow. It has a green and dark green cattail blade, with a yellow hilt, and a dark green lily pad shield, with yellow edges. Its wings are turquoise, bending down to a dark purple color, with purple and yellow insides, and a purple orb on each end. It has circular red diamond like eyes.

Strategy[edit]

Spirit[edit]

As a Spirit, Sir Kyroo uses the same techniques as the Nightmare's while under the Warrior Dispisition. While under the Paladin Disposition, it can cast the most variety of positive status effects available to it such as Spirit Roar, Combo Assist, Shell and Protect, and can also use Cure. As for negative status effects, it can cast Poison on enemies, instead of Sleep, which is exclusive to its Warrior Disposition. While under the Guardian Disposition, it doesn't cast any of these two status effects, but can still cast Cure, Spirit Roar and Combo Assist. While under the Knight Disposition, it forfeits the use of three aforementioned spells, but can use Protect and Shell. Its Warrior and Knight Dispositions allow it to use four types of attacks, while its Paladin and Guardian Dispositions allow it to use three.

Nightmare[edit]

As a Nightmare, Sir Kyroo's combat style involves casting Sleep spells, attacking with its sword, and guarding itself as well as other Nightmares from the protagonist's attacks. Although Fire makes it stagger for a few seconds, Thunder attacks deal more damage.
