Sigrun is a character inKingdom Hearts Dark Road. She is one of the upperclassmen.

Kingdom Hearts Dark Road[edit]

Sigrun trains as a Keyblade wielder inScala ad Caelum underMaster Odin alongsideVidar,Vala,Vali,Hoder,Heimdall, andHelgi. In preparation for herMark of Mastery exam, she travels to other worlds alongside her classmates to observe the world order in them.

InEnchanted Dominion, Sigrun and her classmates learn thatAurora has been cursed byMaleficent, and debate whether they should interfere. While the group rests for the night, Hoder sneaks away, and the remaining classmates decide to split up to search for her. Sigrun, Helgi, and Heimdall go together. They find Hoder's fading spirit in Maleficent's Throne Room, and the three attempt to avenge her by attacking Maleficent in her dragon form. However, as they are fighting,Baldr, possessed by darkness, approaches from behind and kills them.

Following her death, Sigrun arrives atThe Final World along with Heimdall, Helgi, and Hoder, and then their spirits are able to communicate withXehanort andEraqus in theUnderworld thanks toHades. They explain their deaths and that they believe light and darkness may be able to coexist. Having done that, Sigrun fades away once again.

Design[edit]

Sigrun is a chubby, rosy-cheeked young woman with blue eyes and ginger hair which is mostly pulled into a large, high side ponytail on her right with a gold-trimmed black circlet, with one loose lock on the left side of her face. She wears a pinkkimono robe with white flower patterns and white lace trim, with a beigeobi wrapped around her upper waist into a bow at her back. A yellow ribbon takes the place of theobijime, held together in the centre of herobi with a silverobidome-like charm that resemblesTerra's Mark. She also wears dark grey pants and tall white boots with black toes.

Sigrún is a valkyrie in Norse mythology, and wife of the heroHelgi Hundingsbane.

Personality[edit]

Sigrun is cheerful and feels a desire to help people, as seen when she asks to help Aurora and when she is impatient to rush off to look for the missing Hoder. She is confident but a bit naive, as she expresses that she has learned enough to distinguish light from shadow when Odin asserts otherwise. She is shown to have some closeness to Vala as the two are seen leaning against each other as they sleep.
