TheSecret Forest^[1] ofKingdom Hearts III is a special location where time does not matter.Merlin andthe Three Good Fairies changed the flow of time there upon the request ofYen Sid, so time progresses faster inside the world's boundaries than it does elsewhere.^[2]

Settings and Areas[edit]

The Secret Forest is a vast and lush forest full of trees. The ground is covered in grass and clover. There's a clearing at the top of a cliff overlooking the setting sun shining on the forest, with a rock and a log across from each other, and a larger rock overlooking the edge.

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance[edit]

Yen Sid mentions toMickey that Merlin and the Three Good Fairies are aidingLea in a place that is temporally flexible, so he can learn to wield hisKeyblade.

Kingdom Hearts III[edit]

Under Yen Sid's orders,Kairi joins Lea and Merlin to become aKeyblade wielder herself. There, she writesSora a letter she never intends to send.

Lea shares somesea-salt ice cream with Kairi to celebrate their mastery over summoning of their Keyblades. When Kairi asks Lea not to hold back in their next training match, this sparks a brief memory ofXion, prompting Lea to choose to go by his Nobody name.

After Mickey and Riku deliver their new outfits, Kairi changes into hers while Lea prefers to keep hisblack coat. Lea recalls how he metVentus and how that meeting lead to him befriendingRoxas because they looked similar.
