Munny (マニー, Manī?), an intentional misspelling of "money", is the main form of currency in theKingdom Hearts universe. It is used to purchase items fromMoogle Shops inKingdom Hearts,Kingdom Hearts II,Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days,Kingdom Hearts Re:coded,Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep,Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, andKingdom Hearts III. It is replaced byMoogle Points inKingdom Hearts Chain of Memories and supplemented byHeart Points inKingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

Munny prizes come in three sizes, each worth varying amounts of munny: small prizes are worth one munny, medium are worth five, and large are worth twenty. Munny can also be obtained by openingtreasure chests, interacting withprops in the environment, and selling items in the shop.

There are numerous additional methods to earn munny in each game, such as activatingTrinity Marks inKingdom Hearts, making a Heartless slip on aBouncywild's banana peel inKingdom Hearts, winning theGambler Nobody's game inKingdom Hearts II, trading inSystem Points in aSystem Sector inKingdom Hearts Re:coded, and striking enemies duringBonus Time inKingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.
