Moogle Point KHRECOM.png

Moogle Point (モーグリポイント, Mōguri Pointo?), abbreviated asMP, is the name of the currency used to purchaseCards from themoogles in theMoogle Rooms inKingdom Hearts Chain of Memories. They are red in color, spherical in shape, and come in either a small or large size worth either 4 or 10 Moogle Points.

Moogle Points can be acquired in four ways:

  1. By defeating certainHeartless in battle such asWhite Mushrooms andBlack Fungi. IfSora slips on one of theBouncywild's banana peels, a large amount of Moogle Points are released.[KH Re:CoM]
  2. By smashing and jumping onto the various objects scattered throughout each room. The room can also be re-entered[KH CoM] to acquire more.
  3. By trading in unwanted cards at theMoogle Shop for points.
  4. By usingAladdin'sFriend Card in theAgrabah level, allowing him to slash through Heartless in that level for extra Moogle Points. Stacking two or three of the same Friend Card prolongs the effect.[KH Re:CoM]
Sora collects Moogle Point prizes.

As there is no way to automatically attract the Moogle Points,Cards, orHit Points that smashed and jumped-onto objects yield, it is up to the player to chase after and collect the yielded items. The same holds true in regards to the dropped items in battle, unless theBouncywild enemy card is equipped, which has theDraw ability, attracting all the items dropped by enemies in battle.

Additionally, theHundred Acre Wood, being a non-combative level, can make it easy to collect Moogle Points without having to defeat enemies or synthesize new rooms. This can be done by either going back and forth by attacking shrubs and standing on specific grass[KH CoM] or by smashing objects in the first two areas.[KH Re:CoM]

InReverse/Rebirth, Moogle Points cannot be received, sinceRiku cannot enter a Moogle Room.
