Story summary[edit]

It's off to a new place for Roxas. He begins investigating Beast's Castle, including the mysterious roaringBeast within.

Mission walkthrough[edit]

You'll enter at theBridge, where you'll fight a handful ofHeartless, including the newBad Dog. Entering theCourtyard, you'll notice that three of the four statues within seem a bit out of place. Don't worry, they won'tcome to life this time. You simply need to move each statue onto the nearby circular platform by striking it, just like the one in the northwest corner. Each statue has a few Heartless guarding it that you should eliminate first. Upon finishing, a small passage to the left of the main doors will open. Grab any chests and badges in the area if you haven't already and head through the new door.

In the new area, you'll have to operate some switches to move on. Begin with the first one you see. Continue around the new circular path that opens, defeating Heartless along the way. At the end of the hall to your left will be a second switch. Use that to open the door in front of you. Continue ahead to the next switch on your right to open up the final hall, making the area into one big circle. Go down this straight stretch of hall, defeating the Heartless there, and then look for a crack in the wall to your right. It should be marked in red on your map. Climb up on the crate and hop through it to reach the final area.

In the mainEntrance Hall is the goal of your mission: theSergeant. Take him out, and then head for the main castle doors, which are barred. Examine the bar to remove it, and then you can then head straight out into the Courtyard and Bridge to RTC.

Challenge Mission[edit]

To reduce your time, ignore all enemies on the Bridge and in the Courtyard. Quickly open the secret door, and then go through theEntrance Hall Upper Level, taking out Heartless only when they are right near a switch, preventing you from activating it. Run to the doorway to fight the Sergeant. Fighting this battle with a highlevel and a strong weapon will also help keep your time down.
