Meteor is a technique that appears inKingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep andKingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It allows the user to bring a giant meteor crashing down on enemies, triggering an explosion on impact that deals massiveneutral damage.
Mechanics[edit]
InKingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Meteor is an Ultimatemagic command exclusive toTerra that takes up two slots in the Command Deck, has a maximum level of 6 and a normal reload time of 25 seconds, and fills the Command Gauge by 40%.
InKingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Meteor is amagic command exclusive toRiku that uses two slots in the Command Deck and has a reload time of 46 seconds. Meteor can deal an additional damage if it contacts enemies in the air. Meteor grants +3 toMagic when attached to aDream Eater recipe.

- Hades can use a version of Meteor which has him summon a fireball in the air which rains sparks of fire rain down.
- Sephiroth can use a version of Meteor which consists of countless small meteorites.
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep[edit]
- Terra-Xehanort and theUnknown can use Meteor in battle. The power of Terra-Xehanort's version is inferior to Terra's.
- Zack can use a version of Meteor which has him summon 8 meteorites around the opponent, in the second battle in Terra's Scenario and in A Time To Chill.
Origin[edit]
Meteor is a recurring spell in theFinal Fantasy series. It is usually one of the stronger spells and summons a barrage of meteorites to bombard enemies. It either does single non-elemental damage, or hits for mediocre damage multiple times. It is depicted as an upgraded form of theComet spell, or replaces it in games where Comet does not appear.
