| This puppet may not seem like such a pain when it rides around on its ring, but just wait until it possesses a nearby toy! Or, here's a better plan:don't wait until it possesses a nearby toy. Sever this scoundrel's strings on sight. |

Story[edit]
Kingdom Hearts III[edit]
AtYoung Xehanort's command, the Marionettes begin possessing the toys atGalaxy Toys, ranging from theBeasts & Bugs,Patchwork Animals,Air Droids,Bouncy Pets,Supreme Smashers and even anAngelic Amber doll. Each defeat helps weakenBuzz's resolve, leaving him vulnerable to possession by a Marionette himself, until Young Xehanort removes the Heartless from him.
Design[edit]
The Marionette bears a strong resemblance to aPossessor, being a dark blue head with yellow eyes, a jagged mouth, and red spikes all over its body. It is surrounded by a blue ring with yellow edges and controls a puppet with strings. This puppet has grey skin, yellow button eyes with orange stitches, a red nose, and four-fingered hands that end with dark tips. It wears an orange beanie with a spiked cap, a blue stripe and the Heartless emblem emblazoned on the front, a beige shirt with a blue stripe and orange sleeves with buttons on the tip, and orange suspenders tipped with curved feet and buttons on the hems.
Most toys possessed by Marionettes, except for Buzz, bear yellow eyes and the Heartless emblem somewhere on their bodies.
Strategy[edit]
Kingdom Hearts III[edit]
Marionettes are rather weak on their own and are simple to defeat using any method of offense. They become deadlier once they possess the various toys around the store, so it is a good idea to quickly eliminate them on sight before they do.
