TheLofty Gerbera is aScythe that can be wielded byMarluxia inKingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can be upgraded to theLofty Gerbera+.

Design[edit]

The Lofty Gerbera has a curved, blue-grey handle with a small, gold section toward its base, and a flat, pink pommel. Most of the main blade is straight and rather thin, but it suddenly flares out into a wide, anchor-like point at its tip. The back blade is much smaller, but has the same shape. The shaft of the blade has concave edges and ends in a short spike. The shaft is predominantly magenta and there is a magenta diamond present on both the main and back blades. The tip of the shaft and both blades are all white, and the rest of the blade is pink. The blade as a whole is quite large, particularly when compared to the size of the handle. The Lofty Gerbera is a palette swap of theSolemn Magnolia.

Gerbera is a fairly small and very popular genus of plants. Gerbera flowers represent innocence. "Lofty" here means "extremely proud" or "aloof".

Gameplay[edit]

The Lofty Gerbera's ground combo consists of four lateral slashes, alternating from left-to-right to right-to-left. The finisher has Marluxia jump forward before swinging the Scythe in a full circle.

The aerial combo consists of an angled slash followed by a horizontal slash. The finisher brings Marluxia closer to the ground before he swings the Scythe in an angled circle.
