Design[edit]

The Keeba Tiger appears to be based on asmilodon populator, a specific type of saber-toothed cat known for its long, large fangs. Like its namesake, it also resembles a tiger.

"Kiba" (牙^?) translates to "fang".

In the context of martial arts and Asian philosophy, the dragon and tiger are important symbols regarding duality and polarity of the natural world. The Tiger in this instance is representative of that of Yin, whose aspects are found in the terms of matter, darkness, and the Earth, embodying yielding, diffused, and relaxed aspects. In martial arts, the Tiger is said to represent hard and external styles, focusing on physical attributes, including relying on pure physical strength, tempering one's body for the purpose of endurance, explosive speed, and direct confrontation. This is further emphasized on its Ability Link Board, focusing greatly on Attack Boosts and allowing for Darkness-based abilities, including the pain for damage Sacrifice.

Spirit[edit]

The main color of the Spirit version is yellow, with several black stripes and spots throughout its body, with a bit of black on the nose. The underside, where the Spirit Dream Eater symbol is located, is a slightly lighter shade of yellow. The top of the head bears two light blue ear-like horns. Its feet are purple and have 3 light blue claws on each foot. Pointing outward on each leg on the wrists are talons that are the same shade of blue as the claws. The end of its tail has an armor to it, and like the fangs, transitions from yellow to green and then blue at the end.

Nightmare[edit]

Green stripes and spots cover the Nightmare version's black body, with some additional green on the eyelids and blue on the nose. The face, feet, and underside, where the Nightmare Dream Eater symbol is located, is more grey in color. The ear-like horns and wrist talons are purple. Each foot has three hot pink claws. The end of its tail has an armor to it, and like the fangs, transitions from blue to purple and then magenta at the end.
