TheKab Kannon is aDream Eater that appears inKingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It is obtained from anAR Card.
Design[edit]
The Dream Eater's name contains the Japanese words for "cannon" (大砲, Taihō?) and "rhinoceros beetle" (カブト虫, Kabuto-mushi?), though its design is based on a Hercules Beetle, a species of beetle that is quite similar to the rhinoceros beetle.
As a variation of theKO Kabuto Spirit, the Kab Kannon has a blue body with a white head and white arms, which can be changed using aPaint Gun. It has a cyan and dark blue shell, and cyan and dark blue spikes on each arm, lime-green claws, and black "palms". It has black legs, with cyan and blue feet. Its nose is a giant cannon, which appears more angled and sharper than the KO Kabuto, also sporting blue spikes on the side. Wave-like patterns can be found under its arms. The cannon is white, blending to cyan, then blue at the end. The thoracic horn on top of its head is larger than the KO Kabuto's, following the same color scheme as the cannon's but with a bright orange underside. The Spirit Dream Eater emblem is located on its chest.
Abilities[edit]
The Kab Kannon is a defense-oriented Dream Eater, similar to the KO Kabuto, but places much more emphasis on defense with abilities likeWater Screen andDefender. It also sportsDark Firaga for decent damage andZero Graviga as a means for Sora or Riku to hold enemies in place.
