Ice cream (アイス, Aisu^?) is a type of consumable item inKingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep that manually places the character into a setCommand Style. However, using anIce Cream will not always cause the character to switch to the desired Command Style—15% of the time, it will instead activate the specialFrozen Fortune Command Style, which can only be activated through this method, and if the player is already using a Command Style, there is a separate 15% chance of activating the current style's Finish Command.

Like all consumable items in this game, Ice Creams can only be equipped asitem commands and one slot in the Command Deck can hold three Ice Creams. They must be made at theIce Cream Shop using specifiedFlavors. Each ice cream can be made as soon as its Flavors are collected, though it cannot be used until its respective Command Style is unlocked, and once the character has made their first batch of an Ice Cream,Huey, Dewey, and Louie also put the recipe up for sale, so that the character can obtain more ice cream either by spendingmunny or through continued mixing. OnceTerra,Ventus, orAqua obtains each type of Ice Cream available to them, they also receive theSweetstack.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep[edit]

At the end of theMillion Dreams Award contest, the citizens ofDisney Town vote for who they believe has been the best citizen, and surprisingly, Terra, Ventus, and Aqua all tie for first place, due to their good deeds around town. Although Terra and Ventus have already moved on to other worlds and cannot collect their award, Aqua is given a cone ofRoyalberry ice cream as her prize, and she declares it to be the perfect flavor.

Bueno Volcano[edit]

"A daring new veggie ice cream that's both healthy AND spicy."

TheBueno Volcano (ボルケーノカレー, Borukēno Karē^?, lit. "Volcano Curry") command allows Terra, Ventus, and Aqua to activate theFirestorm command style.

This flavor consists of three scoops of vanilla and a mound of chocolate ice cream served in a steelsauce boat, topped with a pepper infused curry styled to resemble lava erupting from a volcano. The English and Japanese names refer to the spiciness of the flavor, with the English name using the Spanish word for "good" and the Japanese name referring to the sauce boat.

Snow Bear[edit]

"A healthy, tofu-flavored ice cream shaped just like a polar bear."

TheSnow Bear (スノウベアー, Sunou Beā^?) command allows Terra, Ventus, and Aqua to activate theDiamond Dust command style.

This flavor is made up of a molded set of brown sesame and white tofu ice cream, shaped into a polar bear wearing a parka with its ears sticking out, and a popsicle stick at the bottom.

Spark Lemon[edit]

"A lemon ice cream whose sour power will have you wincing in joy."

TheSpark Lemon (スパークレモン, Supāku Remon^?) command allows Terra, Ventus, and Aqua to activate theThunderbolt command style.

This flavor is held at the bottom half of a lemon, with the ice cream itself swirled with a lemon streak, a slice of a lemon placed in it, and two lightning bolts opposite the slice.

Royalberry[edit]

"A raspberry ice cream with a hint of sour hiding under all that sweet."

TheRoyalberry (クイーンベリー, Kuīnberī^?, lit. "Queenberry") command allows Terra and Aqua to activate theBladecharge command style.

This flavor is a cone of red raspberry ice cream, wrapped in a decorative paper, filled with whipped cream, and topped with two berries, a plastic heart-shaped tiara, and two round pieces of chocolate, resemblingQueen Minnie. The name of the flavor in both languages references its design inspiration.

Sugary Skies[edit]

"A fluffy, fun-filled cross between cotton candy and ice cream."

TheMilky Way^{[KH BbS]} orSugary Skies^{[KH II HD]} (ミルキーウェイ, Mirukī Wei^?, lit. "Milky Way") command allows Ventus and Aqua to activate theSky Climber command style.

This flavor consists of a rainbow-colored ice cream puffing out into three prongs like cotton candy, decorated with stars (two on the sides, three in the middle) and a trio of airplanes, making the ice cream the planes' "exhaust", all held together on a stick. The planes themselves resembles the ones flown byHuey, Dewey, and Louie in theRumble Racing minigame. The Japanese and original English name is a reference to theMilky Way Galaxy and achocolate bar. The English name as of the Final Mix is in reference to the cotton candy-like consistency of the ice cream and its connection to airplanes.

Vanilla Glitz[edit]

"Vanilla ice cream studded with tons of gemstones. Chew carefully!"

TheVanilla Glitz (ジュエルバニラ, Jueru Banira^?, lit. "Jewel Vanilla") command allows Terra to activate theCritical Impact command style.

This flavor consists of three scoops of vanilla in a glass dish, sprinkled with various colored gems.

Rockin' Crunch[edit]

"A bittersweet, nut-covered ice cream with a sophisticated taste."

TheRockin' Crunch (ロッククランチ, Rokku Kuranchi^?, lit. "Rock Crunch") command allows Terra to activate theRockbreaker command style.

This flavor is a bar of ice cream with a chocolate shell, forming a star-shaped crack, with nuts present in the shell, all held on a stick that resembles part of Terra's Keyblade Armor.

Big Bad Pete[edit]

"An unusual, Pete-shaped ice cream with a chestnut flavor."

TheBig Bad Pete (ブラック・ピート, Burakku Pīto^?, lit. "Black Pete") command allows Terra to activate theDark Impulse command style.

This flavor is made up of three different colored servings of chestnut-flavored icecream, held in a glass bowl emblazoned with a "P," and topped with two pieces of a chestnut resembling ears, a mound of chocolate resembling a nose and hair, two marshmallows resembling teeth, and a spoon coming out of the dish. As the description states, the flavor is based onPete, and the names in English and Japanese reflect his titles throughout his cartoon career.

Honeybunny[edit]

"An adorable apple and honey ice cream shaped just like a bunny."

TheHoneybunny (ハニーバニー, Hanībanī^?) command allows Ventus to activate theFever Pitch command style.

This flavor is a cone of apple ice cream with two bunny ears coming out and drips of honey on the left ear, with three on the main scoop resembling the rabbit's eyes and nose.

Goofy Parfait[edit]

"A sundae-style ice cream piled up to look like Goofy."

TheGoofy Parfait (グーフィー・パフェ, Gūfī Pafe^?) command allows Ventus to activate theCyclone command style.

This flavor consists of small red, blue, and green scoops of ice cream with a taller swirl of rainbow sherbet in the center, all served in a parfait glass, topped with a dollop of orange ice cream and decorated with two mounds of chocolate dripping down the sides of the glass, two wafers, two slices of apple, a black cherry in front, and three sticks ofPocky underneath the dollop, all making it resembleGoofy.

Double Crunch[edit]

"A mixed ice cream so full of fruit, you might just go a little bananas."

TheDouble Crunch (ダブルクランチ, Daburu Kuranchi^?) command allows Ventus to activate theWingblade command style.

This flavor is an assortment of strawberries, kiwis, mangos, bananas, and cherries served in a waffle bowl with a scoop of fruit flavored ice cream in the middle, covered at the bottom with a red chocolate shell, two chocolateKingdom Keys in the back (the right one resemblingKingdom Key D), a small plasticCrown on top, and two round pieces of chocolate, making it resembleMickey Mouse.

Fabracadabra[edit]

"An ice cream topped with the magic of three fruit flavors."

TheFabracadabra (ハットトリック, Hatto Torikku^?, lit. "Hat Trick") command allows Aqua to activate theSpellweaver command style.

This flavor is served in a gold trophy-like dish with three scoops of green, blue, and red ice cream. The Japanese and English names are in reference to stage magic, with the magic word of "Abracadabra" and the image of a magician pulling a rabbit from a hat.

Donald Fizz[edit]

"A fizzy ice cream that bears a charming resemblance to Donald."

TheDonald Fizz (ドナルド・ソルト, Donarudo Saruto^?, lit. "Donald Salt") command allows Aqua to activate theGhost Drive command style.

This flavor resembles a bar ofsea-salt ice cream, with a yellow bill in front and topped withDonald Duck's hat. The Japanese name reinforces the resemblance to sea-salt ice cream. The English name instead refers tocarbonated water, which is often used for making fizzy drinks.

Daisy Sorbet[edit]

"A grape-flavored sorbet is the main ingredient in this delectable dessert."

TheDaisy Sorbet^{[KH BbS FM]} (デイジー・ソルベ, Deijī Sorube^?) command allows Terra, Ventus, and Aqua to activate theRhythm Mixer command style.

This flavor is made up of a big scoop of grape sorbet in the center, surrounded by smaller scoops of blue and cyan sorbet, served in a lilac-colored dish and topped with a bow, a plastic treble clef, a plastic eighth note, and a yellow bill in front. The name of the flavor refers to its resemblance toDaisy Duck.
