TheFishboné is a type ofDream Eater that appears inKingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.
Design[edit]
The Fishboné's English name refers to its skeletal appearance. The accent over the "e" at the end of its name is a reference to the pronunciation of the Dream Eater's Japanese name, "Bone (骨, Hone?) Fish".
Spirit[edit]
As the name suggests, the Spirit Fishboné bears a largely skeletal appearance. The upper section of its body is primarily sky blue with four purple spikes of decreasing size trailing down its back. Two yellow horns surround the Spirit Dream Eater Sigil, with a larger purple one appearing below it. Two white bones that surround its eyes serve as its upper set of sharp teeth. Its lower jaw is green with a small yellow spike on its chin, a green "beard", and three small red, orange, and yellow spikes on either side of the mouth. Behind the mouth is a red spine with the vertebral spines bearing yellow tips. Detached from its body are two blue and purple front fins, two yellow and purple rear fins, and the caudal fin. The caudal fin starts blue, and then white, before ending with a gradient of red that fades to purple and indigo, with three spikes on each of the three colors. Inside the fin is a diamond-shaped hole with a green inside.
Nightmare[edit]
The color scheme of the Nightmare Fishboné is a lot simpler. The upper section of its body is primarily purple with four neon yellow spikes of decreasing size trailing down its back. Two dark blue horns surround the Nightmare Dream Eater Sigil, with a larger neon one appearing below it. Two white bones that surround its eyes serve as its upper set of sharp teeth. Its lower jaw is grey with a small white spike on its chin, a dark blue "beard", and three small blue spikes on either side of the mouth. Behind the mouth is a dark grey spine with the vertebral spines bearing dark red tips. Detached from its body are two purple and yellow front fins, two blue and neon yellow rear fins, and the caudal fin. The caudal fin starts purple, and then white, before ending with neon yellow, with three spikes on ends. Inside the fin is a diamond-shaped hole with a blue inside.
