Destiny's Embrace is the default form ofKairi'sKeyblade and aKeychain forAqua's Keyblade that is introduced inKingdom Hearts II.
Story[edit]
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep[edit]
When Kairi is still a child living in theRadiant Garden, she is saved from a swarm ofUnversed byAqua. Kairi gives theKeyblade Master some flowers as thanks, rewarding her with the Keychain for the Destiny's Embrace.
Kingdom Hearts II[edit]
Eleven years later atThe World That Never Was,Riku hands a Keyblade equipped with this Keychain toKairi so that she can help fend off a swarm ofHeartless attackingSora. Like Sora's Keyblade, this Keyblade is from theRealm of Light.[1]
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance[edit]
When Sora is about to faceXemnas within the dream-version of The World That Never Was, he explains that the connectedhearts of his friends are his power, and an image of Kairi wielding the Destiny's Embrace appears alongside all of his other friends.
Kingdom Hearts III[edit]
Kairi wields Destiny's Embrace to fend of the army of Heartless,Nobodies, and Unversed with the otherGuardians of Light in theKeyblade Graveyard, and during the battle againstSaïx,Xion, andXemnas.
Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory[edit]
Kairi wields Destiny's Embrace to face off against the phantom Master Xehanort. She uses it until Xehanort incapacitates her.
Design[edit]
The Keyblade is round and curvaceous to the point of appearing harmless. The hilt is shaped like a heart, one side of the hilt is formed in the shape of a breaking ocean wave, while the other is formed into a beige vine of sand that wraps around the shaft, which is colored to resemble a sunset. The vine connects to a bouquet of colorful flowers, which form the teeth of the Keyblade and entwine to outline another heart. A red silken keychain connects the hilt to thepaopu fruit token. Kairi's version of the Destiny's Embrace is slightly shorter than Aqua's.
When Kairi attacks with the Destiny's Embrace inKingdom Hearts III, the hits make chiming sounds like a piano, while leaving glowing feathers and assorted flower blossoms behind. The blue wave design of the blade now resembles glass and has a constant flowing water effect.

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius[edit]
InFinal Fantasy Brave Exvius, Destiny's Embrace is an ability learned by Kairi (KHIII). It costs 77 MP to perform, and can be used 4 times per battle. Destiny's Embrace deals light physical damage to one enemy, and increases the damage dealt with Destiny's Embrace for 2 turns.
