Balloon,Balloonra, andBalloonga are a series ofmagic that appears inKingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. They allow the user to summon balloons that burst on impact with enemies,stunning them and dealingneutral damage.
Mechanics[edit]
InKingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Balloon, Balloonra, and Balloonga aremagic commands.
- Balloon is a magic command that summons a ring of 5 balloons for 8 seconds. The balloons burst on enemy contact, bouncing enemies into the air. The balloons have a 50% chance of stunning foes. Balloon takes up one slot in the Command Deck and has a reload time of 12 seconds. It grants +1 toMagic and +10 toWater Resistance when attached to aDream Eater recipe.
- Balloonra is a magic command that summons a cluster of 6 balloons that the user scatters across the field toward enemies. The balloons can also scatter by themselves if the user cannot strike them due to staggering from an enemy hit. The balloons have a 50% chance of stunning foes. Balloonra takes up one slot in the Command Deck and has a reload time of 18 seconds. It grants +2 to Magic and +20 to Water Resistance when attached to a Dream Eater recipe. The combined power of all balloons makes Balloonra more powerful than Balloonga.
- Balloonga is a magic command that summons a huge balloon that slowly floats towards enemies and bursts on contact (disappearing if it doesn't hit any enemies after a few seconds), releasing 6 smaller balloons for additional damage, which also home in on any nearby enemies. The large balloon has a 100% chance of stunning foes, while the smaller balloons have a 50% chance. Balloonga takes up one slot in the Command Deck and has a reload time of 26 seconds. It grants +3 to Magic and +30 to Water Resistance when attached to a Dream Eater recipe.
