SeveralKingdom Heartsart books have been released; these feature CG artwork and concept art by Tetsuya Nomura, as well as other artists, such as Shiro Amano, who illustrates theKingdom Hearts novels, manga, and calendars. While some art books present little information, others are complete with design decisions and information about how a particular piece developed, such as theKingdom Hearts Series Ultimania Alpha. The special edition ofKingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep contains a small art book comprised of many exclusive images.
