Angelic Amber is a possessed toy featured inToy Box, a world fromKingdom Hearts III based onToy Story.

Story[edit]

Kingdom Hearts III[edit]

Angelic Amber is possessed by aMarionette, and imprisonsHamm in a dollhouse.[1] WhenSora,Donald,Goofy,Woody, andBuzz find Hamm, Angelic Amber arrives and engages them in battle, but is soon defeated and liberated from the Marionette. Her defeat prompts Buzz to wonder if he and Woody will be possessed as well.

Design[edit]

Angelic Amber is a doll resembling a young human girl. She has pale skin, a long, soft face with green eyes and red lipstick, and curled blue hair with bangs. She wears a headband with white rabbit ears and a black Victorian-style dress with white lining, grey sleeves, and a black bow around her waist. She also has black heels with white socks. When possessed by a Marionette, she bears theHeartless emblem on the left rabbit ear, and her eyes are golden.

Strategy[edit]

Angelic Amber is a tricky boss to fight, as all of Babies and Toddlers: Dolls serves as the battlefield and she is accompanied by other enemies to keep the party distracted, such asMarionettes andGold Beats. She is also capable of leaping vast distances, making it easier for her to chase after Sora. She tends to erratically move around the arena to get distance from the party and signal she is about to attack, although this is not always the case. Her arsenal of attacks includes a leaping slam, a corkscrew charge, and a close-range spin attack infused with darkness.

When reduced to 65% HP, she goes limp for about 4 seconds, then launches nearby opponents (this deals no damage). Afterward, she gains a strength boost, causing her attacks to become more powerful and allowing her to attack twice in a row.

The lesser enemies that flank her will spawn in groups in different sections of the store. These spawn points are fixed and only ever spawn one group of enemies, so it is possible to stay in the initial area of the store and only have one or two waves total to deal with. It is also possible to land on one of the platforms that are near the ceiling, or on top of the shelves near the vents Sora entered the area from. This way, only the aerial enemies and Angelic Amber herself are able to reach Sora, which makes managing the enemies much easier.

Shooting Star's Formchanges,Fire-element magic, and theRocket RuckusTeam Attack are strong options for intercepting her while she is on the move and clearing out the waves of Heartless.

With patience, Angelic Amber will fall, and Sora will gain a max MP increase, and learnHigh Jump.
