
WHITE COUNTY, Ark. (KAIT) – A child died Saturday evening when two vehicles collided at a White County intersection.
Arkansas State Police said the crash happened around 6:38 p.m. Nov. 22 at the intersection of Highways 36 and 13.
According to the preliminary fatal crash report, Jamie Sartin, 31, of Higginson, was eastbound turning left onto Hwy. 13 when she failed to yield the right of way.
A westbound 2002 Ford F250 struck then Sartin’s 2015 Jeep Compass.
A child who was riding with Sartin suffered fatal injuries.
Sartin and two other minor passengers suffered unknown injuries.
Sharon Faulk, 65, of Romance, who was a passenger in the pickup, also suffered injuries.
All of the injured were taken to Unity Health and Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
The crash report did not identify the driver of the Ford pickup.
